Magpark.com – Dear readers, are you planning a long road trip in an RV?  If you are, you will likely end up staying at a RV park.  We know for many traveling by RV, motor home parks are their only affordable overnight accommodation option.  RV parks are similar to traditional campgrounds, but they are designed with motor homes in mind.  When compared to traditional campgrounds, RV parks often have more space.

Whether you are interested in staying at one RV park or if you would like to stay at multiple RV parks along the way, it is important to first familiarize yourself with all of your options.  This is best done with a little bit of research.

Researching RV parks before you leave for your RV trip also gives you enough time to examine all park rules and restrictions.  Although most public RV parks will allow pets and children, not all do.  That is why it is important that you do the proper research first.  This research will allow you to first make sure that you can meet all rules and restrictions.  If not, it also gives you time to find an alterative.

Now that you know a few of the many reasons why it is important to research RV parks and public campgrounds with motor home accommodations, you may be curious as to how you can go about doing so.  The good news is that it is relatively easy to do.

When researching RV parks and public campgrounds with motor home accommodations, perform a standard internet search.  You will want to search with the name of the park in question.  Your standard internet search should connect you to the website for that particular park or campground, should they have one.  Examine that website to learn as much as you can or at least get the contact information from the website.  This allows you to contact the park or campground in question to ask any additional questions that you may have.

Even if you do not have a RV park name, you can still use the internet to your advantage.  Business directories enable you to search for a business, like an RV park, in a particular area, such as a specific city and state.  You can also perform a standard internet search with a generalized phrase, such as “New York RV parks.”  Through the use of a business directory and standard internet searches, you should be able to find the online websites of multiple parks or at least the proper contact information.

As a recap, there are a number of reasons why you should take the time to research RV parks and public campgrounds with motor home accommodations.  By taking the time to do the proper amount of research, you are more likely to choose the park or campground that is the best fit for you and your needs. This will certainly make your stay more comfortable and you holiday much more enjoyable.

Maybe you still don’t know about Disneyworld’s newest addition, Animal Kingdom is a wonderful place for kids of all ages to learn about animals and the environments in which they live, as well as taking a closer look at the world of dinosaurs – all in the traditional Disney package of feel good exhibits and varying thrill-level rides.  Upon arrival, check out the visitors center for news on any special events happening daily in the park. In the Flights of Wonder section, you can learn how to (and how not to!) handle birds and see such beautiful bird as an American Bald Eagle, and magnificent macaws up close – but don’t get too close!

In the Boneyard play in a maze filled with fun fossils.  Any would-be palaeontologist in your family will love this one!  Then there’s DINOSAUR which will be more entertaining for those who desire more thrills and spills from their visit.  Other areas of interest in this Dinoland section of the Animal Kingdom are the TriceraTop Spin, the Cretacaeous Trail and of course, a Disney musical exhibit based around the Finding Nemo movie.  Amidst these various attractions are wildlife such as storks and Asian brown tortoises.

You’ll never forget about The animals of the Animal Kingdom, and a trip through the Maharajah Jungle will take you in the Anandapur Royal Forest of Southeast Asia where you can wander around the ruins of an ancient palace, home to many different animals.

If you’re ready for some more excitement, take a trip down the Kali River Rapids – watch out for the rushing geysers however as you raft down the Chakrandadi River escaping a jungle fire by traveling down a waterfall!   If you’re up for another thrill, the Expedition Everest ride is a roller coaster ride which has your on a refurbished steam train en route to your Mount Everest base camp taking a yeti guarded short cut!

Maybe you want to go around the Animal Kingdom Park?, Don’t worry, the Animal Kingdom has its share of Disney rides, but with an overall theme of protecting wildlife, it’s a good place to teach kids about wildlife and how to preserve it.

Magpark.com – Dear readers, park magazine will let you know if you really love the outdoors and all things that belong to nature then Seattle Washington is really a great place for you to visit. With the climate, the terrain, and the beautiful surroundings, this city truly has the best of most worlds. Mountains, volcanoes, trees, sand, and sea can all be found in and around this truly unique city.

In addition to the great scenery that abounds, there are many places you can go to get a better view of the local wildlife. This is, after all, an integral part of nature and the little ones that you’ve brought along (if you’ve brought little ones along) will thoroughly enjoy seeing all of the animals.

Seattle has the distinct benefit of having and/or being within easy driving distance of several zoos and aquariums as well as other unique opportunities to see wildlife in more natural habitats and surroundings. Below I will give a brief overview of some of them that will hopefully whet your appetite and encourage you to at the very least give these outings serious consideration.

The first wildlife exhibit I would like to point out is a bit of a drive from Seattle but well worth every mile. Northwest Trek is a 715-acre park, which offers a tram tour through 435 acres of land where animals are free roaming in their natural habitats. There are 30 species represented along the trek and more than 200 animals within those species. This is a great way to see American animals without cages and bars surrounding them.

Next on my list of unique opportunities to view wildlife is the Cougar Mountain Zoo. This zoo is unique because of its focus on endangered species. Perhaps one of the most fascinating things about this particular zoo is its focus on educating visitors about the animals it hold. The zoo hosts several lectures throughout the day on the various animals it holds. Not only is there the magic of rare and beautiful creatures but a profound lesson that can be learned about conservationism and the importance of each and every creature in the circle of life. I think this is truly a unique opportunity that would be a shame to miss.

The next one I’d like to mention is Wolf Haven International. This organization provides rescue and sanctuary for captive born wolves. Wolf Haven also offers education to the public at large about these great animals. 45 minute to one hour walking tours are offered daily and walking tours are the only way you can actually see the wolves. If you have even the most remote interest in these beautiful creatures, I highly recommend a visit to Wolf Haven as a potential highlight of your trip to Seattle.

One of the activities people think of most when visiting Seattle is of course, whale watching. I would certainly be remiss if I didn’t include information about that here as well. There are several charter companies that offer whale-watching excursions leaving daily from Seattle. The most popular time of year to do so is from April through September and the San Juan Islands are a great general area in which to see these magnificent creatures. My recommendation is to make reservations early, especially during the peak whale-watching season. Not only do you get to see the great whales, but you also get to take a boat ride in the process. For me, being on the water is just as wonderful an experience was watching the whales.

We recommended that these are some of the more uncommon and unique places to view animals in and around Seattle, Washington. If you are planning a visit to this area and you love animals, nature, park and wildlife, each of these places has something special and extraordinary to offer its guests. Not only are these places to view wonderful and magnificent creatures but also receive an education about them as well. My fondest hope is that you will visit each of these places and find the experience as incredible as I do.

If you looking for Zoo, the San Diego Zoo is one of the best zoo’s in the United States. San Diego Zoo located in San Diego, California. Serving as one of the main reasons to visit San Diego, the zoo houses nearly 4,000 animals.  Also in the zoo, are the infamous pandas, one of the main reasons as to why the zoo is so popular.

You’ll find many animals in San Diego Zoo like the pandas, giraffes, tigers, and basically any other animal that you can think of.  The animals themselves have plenty of room to run and play, giving you all the space you need to view them in their active environment and best of all – while they are at their best.

You should make sure you visit the zoo anytime you plant to visit San Diego.  Kids simply adore the animals here, while parents find them adorable.  Even if you have never been to a zoo before, the San Diego Zoo can more than change your outlook.

The park is enormous in size, having everything you can basically think of when it comes to animals.  Once you enter the zoo, you can check out the animals, get some food, or just walk around. Once you visit, you may find yourself hating time when it comes time to leave!

Great Percé Rock is one of nature’s true wonders, and one of the most photographed places in Quebec, possibly in all of Canada.  Perce Rock have hugh area, the 375 million year-old rock is an enormous limestone slab, 295 feet (90 m) wide, 279 feet (85 m) high at its highest point, and an awe-inspiring 1476 feet (450 m) long.  The rock’s name comes from the French word percé, “pierce”, so-called for the large opening that pierces the slab near the seaward end.

Maybe you should know, Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, Canada is aptly named.  Its name derives from the Mi’kmaq Indian word gespeg, meaning “end of land”.  It is the end of an eastern Canadian peninsula, and, more interestingly, just off the coast lies Percé Rock, the far northern end of the Appalachian mountains.

Legend maintains that at one point the rock was pierced in as many as four locations, but historical records only mention two holes.  The second cave, to the east of the one visible today, collapsed in 1845.  The sea stack L’Obelisque at the end of the monolith is an artifact of this cave-in.

For four hours each day the tide recedes enough to allow people to walk across to the rock.  Tourists can walk to the cave, but it is an arduous trek.  A better way to see the majesty of Percé Rock is to take one of the many boat tours that go around the rock.

The village of Percé was once the largest fishing port on the Gaspe Peninsula.  It is now devoted to catering to the tourists who come to see the rock and visit the bird sanctuary on Bonaventure Island.  It is also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with hike and bike trails, camping nearby, and even scuba opportunities for those willing to brave the cold waters of Gaspe bay.
